    Hi Nick I have taken a look at it all, there is a great deal of work to be done, good luck, I just hope the SR DEMU does not get scrapped as it could do my project a lot of good, the only problem right now is we trying to raise the money to buy the site. Once we have that. I would love to come and talk to someone about any of the rolling stock they want to dispose of.

    I never knew the DEMU was at risk. I see it's not listed on the P&B website under stock. What's the problem?

    I was reading tractionads and I think it is only the diesel shunter 'Panteg' that is at risk of being scrapped if not sold, due to the cracked engine block? Shame the thumper has to be sold though, it looked really good on the line!

    That's good news for the thumpers future however, hate to see lines having to sell stock. What's the background?
