    The Directors and Principal members are offering GWR Preservation Group’s locomotive Prairie 4110 up for outright sale to provide necessary funding to assist in the group’s retube/restoration of its Pannier 9682 and other stock.

    The Group already has several offers on the table, but are still open to further serious offers from professional restorers/engineers and railway heritage centres. This is not a sale locomotive to be used for parts. It currently lies at the Tyseley Works in Birmingham and can be viewed with prior arrangement, this is highly recommended. Some parts are stored within locked containers.
