    Sorry, rather strange question for NP, but thought it was worth a go...!
    I am trying to locate a map of the pre-independence railways of India - i.e. the (British/Indian state) railway companies. Something like the one which this snapshot is taken from: http://wiki.fibis.org/images/8/88/Dibru-Sadiya_Railway_1942.jpg
    Anyone got any ideas where I might find one?

    I have that map. It's Survey of India 1945 and my copy cost my father 1.5 rupees from the Jain Bookshop in Connaught Circus New Delhi in 1946. Unfortunately it is very fragile so not something I can loan you but can provide scans if you wish. A veritable treasure if you love Indian railways!
