    Happy New Year to everyone!

Not sure if this subject has been discussed on here in the past, but with some good climbs (especially) performed by preserved main line locos, have the power outputs been calculated by anyone?
I'm sure some of the Shap and South Devon banks climbs would have required high output, but how do they compare with the outputs of the classes in BR work in general?
I'd love to find out what the power output of 34067 Tangmere on her unassisted climb of Upwey bank last year for example, surely that would have compared favourably with some of that classes past work?

Often calculated by Mike Notley in his excellent column in the Steam Beano.
