Is it just me or did I miss something. I was quite interested to see that this years focus was on the shunter (Page 1 of programme). There was to be a display. But could I find a display...no! What happened. All those rare and obscure shunters of the ilk of Andrew Barclay and Drewry hidden away in dusty sheds scattered far and wide..no we were treated to a line up of very unkempt locos like Sir Edward Elgar (class 50) where the shunters could have been on display. Clearly no one had been told to get them out. I did think that beside this somewhat bizzare glitch it was a fanatastic exhibition and excellent value for money with h&s reminiscent of the 70's. No complaints but if something is in the programme it ought to be there. You have a good selection of 'diesel dawn shunters'.. you missed a trick there.
