    Evening All,

If anyone is interested to have a look, I have put some Swiss preservation pictures on my Flickr site today. They're in the 'Stop Press!' collection for new pictures in the Set dated 26th August :

They'll be there for about a month, but they can also be found in the 'European Railways' collection in the Sets 'Switzerland 2008' and 'Switzerland 2011' : http://www.flickr.com/photos/train-pix/collections/72157626340231970/

I have visited the famous Blonay and Chamby preserved railway some days ago:wonderful line albeit very short (3 kms) you can troll everywhere around the sheds(very interesting old carriages, train and tram alike)I can say that never ion the contient I have testified the sheer , immense stupidity of the HSE which plague everything in UK
    regards:boink:

Although I went there in 1967 before it opened, I haven't been back since. It's on my 'to do' list, though.

No I do not currently volunteer
It's worth doing. I've been there a couple of times now.

So long as you're clear of the running lines, no one in Switzerland cares where you walk!
