SCARBOROUGH'S North Bay Railway is on track for a bright future after the attraction was formally privatised at a special ceremony.
The 76-year-old line will no longer be run by Scarborough Council, but by rail enthusiasts who have set up the North Bay Railway Company.

The council has sealed a deal for the line from Peasholm to Scalby Mills to be operated by the company for the next 25 years.
