Anyone know any further details? Is a timetable going to be released beforehand, with details of what the guest locos are doing? Particularly looking forward to seeing Katie, but not much details of what she will be doing.

I'm really hoping to go to this. It'll be worth it just to see the Conwy Valley's Britannia out and about.

Spoken to the Ratty Commercial Dpt, who have kindly told me it is their standard summer timetable with the additional Basset-Lowke shuttles to Muncaster Mill. The remaining guest engines will appear in light steam around the sheds, which will be open to allow visitors to get "up and close" to the locomotives.

My wife and I are in Ravenglass for this event.

I went for a round trip yesterday behind Lydia from the Perrygrove Railway. She seemed to handle the heavily laden 9 coach load with ease on the Ratty gradients.

Count Louis (renamed as Sans Pareil) and Synolda went out on a 3 coach test top and tail to the Mill at about 1850, while Katie was on shed raising steam having just been delivered in the afternoon. I get the impression Lydia at least will be used on the full line trips.

Britannia from Conwy is not coming. Everything else has come and Lydia is on a late full length run this afternoon.

There maybe a run with the Count and Katie at some point during the week end as its about thirty years since they have been in steam together.

It's been an excellent day on the Ratty. Some lovely weather, and Synolda and Count Louis have been putting in some good performances on the Muncaster Mill shuttles.

Lydia went out on the 16.50 from Ravenglass today. River Irt failed earlier in the day as well, so was replaced by one of the diesels. Katie and Soony were taking turns working a single coach from outside the workshops to the far end of the headshunt. Count Louis and Synolda were working the shuttles out of the middle, unused, platform at Ravenglass.

A good day, though would've been nice to see the visitors working service trains or shuttles earlier in the day.

Irt will be in action again tomorrow.
Lydia will run the 16: 50.

Big Sheila will make a guest performance on Northern Rock.

Count Louis and Katie will run a private special in the evening.

The engineers workshop is also open with many visitors and items of interest to see.
