Reduced fares to and from the SVR

'Kids for a Quid' is a new summertime offer on fares for children aged 4 to 15 years available for your visit on any date from July 24th to August 31st. See http://www.svr.co.uk/News.aspx. It is also available during the special events A Peep Behind the Scenes (additional charge for wristbands) and Seaside Special. Admission to The Engine House Visitor Centre at Highley is FREE. Children MUST be accompanied by an adult fare paying passenger(s). Family tickets are NOT available with this offer. 'Kids for a Quid' is NOT available on through tickets from mainline stations and travel centres.

Thanks for the info. A couple of visits to the SVR will be planned, starting with one this Saturday.

 

Next Saturday and Sunday at the SVR provides and opportunity to see inside the normally out of bounds areas such as the shed and carriage works etc. Requires purchase of a wrist band when buying your ticket. All in aid of the SVR's last "Barry" restoration project.
Trying to get the better-half to come with me, on a promise of walking across the footbridge at Bridgnorth into the town centre, where Saturday looks like an intersting day in the town, street markets etc.
