    Having watched the documentory on the history channel about the re-patriation of two "Churchill" 8F locos, does anyone have any info on where they are, and if any progress has been made on the preservation ?

    45170 is on display at Shildon and will not be worked on until Std 4 2-6-0 76084 is finished.
    T'other one is in store at Barry. I do not know what the plans are for this loco.

    45170 on display at NRM Shildon, then will go to Hempscott (Morpeth) for store until standard 76084 is completed. 45166 remains with the Churchill 8F group and is in store at Barry. Dont know if this one is accessible to the public.
