Not seen much of this event on here, but details are on their website:
    http://rhylminiaturerailway.co.uk/centenarygala2011.html

Featuring the 6 Atlantic Barnes, being seen all together for the first time ever (Joan, Railway Queen, John, Billie, Michael, Billy), Plus Red Dragon fro Windmill Farm and the resident Cagney.

Anyone know if its the Standard £2 fare for this event?

A lovely railway, superb set up, well worth a visit.

My only suggestions for improvement would be that they could perhaps try some different coal and have someone give the seats a clean - took my kids for a ride a few weeks back and they came off with their clothes filthy and black highlights in their hair!! I appreciate that steam trains are not the cleanest things in the world (especially when combined with open coaches) but when you have to explain to their mother why the little darlings are covered in black splodges, its not easy to justify a return visit!

Excellent little event, if you are looking for a different day out involving steam then this is it. Only selling rover tickets at £6 adult / £3 kids, but well worth it. They did 2 lineups one in the morning and 1 in the afternoon of all 6 locos, and 4 engines were in steam as well though Red Dragon did develop problems.

Had heard by 4pm Saturday they had sold over 1000 tickets! If true very well done guys.
