    Yes I am an active volunteer
    I've been asked by some of my less Computer savvy friends at the Ribble Steam Railway to bring to your attention that fresh on the heels of their 5yr since opening birthday celebrations this weekend. Next weekend sees the September Steam Gala event featuring subject to all the usual caveats John Howe, Walkden and for one weekend only Gothenburg (courtesy of the East Lancs Railway).
    There will be a special timetable in operation including freight trains, double heading, top and tailing and a triple header. The website will be updated shortly with full details of the event including the timetable.
