I haven't seen a thread about this; forgive me if I've missed one.

I've just been reading the new Steam Railway - a report that the Highways Agency has accepted the rebuilding of the line across the A21 - subject to no trains at the morning and evening peak times for road traffic, which seems a sensible condition and is unlikely to interfere unduly with the usual preserved railway timetable. There are other hurdles to cross - Environment Agency approval of reinstated embankments and nature survey, then planning permission, but I dare to hope that I may live to change trains at Robertsbridge for Tenterden.

Thats very good news. I thought that the planning application had already been with the local council for many months and that a decision was due in June?
