    Just coming on BBC now

Apparently the luxury Rovos Rail train between Cape Town and Pretoria has crashed.
(This train does have a part steam hauled section on the journey, but not this section).

Reports are there are some dead.

    Correction,

Apparently this accident did involve steam,

The incident appears to have been a runaway, where the diesel and steam locomotives were being exchanged.

The train ran away before the steam locomotive was coupled to the stock.

all coaches derailed, several over turned, or on top of each other, Most passengers have been hospitalized, some quite ugly pictures.

And the BBC would like you to contact them if you know anything about the crash - what happened to public "service" journalism rather than intrusive and speculative reporting?
