    ‘Birkenhead’, owned by the GWR Preservation Group, has undergone some remedial and servicing work, and will be available for hire from mid September. Interested Railway Groups in need of this useful Locomotive, (pictures within this website) should contact in the first instance, Mike Gorringe, Publicity Director on the contact us link.
    An interest in hiring this locomotive has been received and GWRPG are awaiting confirmation.
