I'm looking for some help regarding Rushton Signal Box, that is now located on the CVR at Froghall Station.

Originaly it was preserved by Dinting, before going onto KWVR from where the CVR then acquired it.

Basically I want to know when did Dinting preserve it, and what did they then use it for.

And then how did it end up at KWVR, and what they used it for as well.

If anyone's got any dates (rough or exact) I'd be grateful, including when it was transferred into the ownership of the CVR.

    Thanks in Advance

Il ask Pete who was the s and t at Dinting and I work with. I know he's told me it use to have a frame in which was open on open days working things and also it had the capability of self working a bit like shuttle mode so it wasn't always needed. Though the foot crossing was next door to it to access the sheds

The cabin is now an office at the Cvr on Froghall station , the frame from its days at Dinting is still safe with Pete

Sorry, been away for a week so unable to reply.

That is excellent, and I look forward to hearing from you (and Pete).

    Much appreciated.
