    The mighty Alycidon is out and about on the main line on Saturday........over the S&C. Takes over the tour at Doncaster, then via Leeds and the S&C to Carlisle, back over the Pennines and down the ECML to York.
    Timings are on the dps website.

    Yes I am an active volunteer
    Also on 3rd October, at c 10.00hrs Deltic will be top & tailed down the Ribble Steam Railway line by D9537 & D9539, this will not be repeated on Sunday 4th.

    The Prototype will spend the rest of Saturday, & all day Sunday on external display. The Loco is due back at Shildon soon after this. Last chance to see it at Preston.
