    We have just heard from Ben Collier that final preparation is now going ahead for a Photographic Charter this October using Ian Riley's 2 Black Fives. This will happen over Saturday/Sunday 19th/20th October, the weekend before the Black Fives head south with the S.R.P.S Railtour the following Saturday from Fort William.

    The idea is to have 2 Black Fives sharing work on the Fort - William Mallaig line with Chimney first running from Mallaig or Arisaig and permission granted to run towards Crianlarich hopefully taking in the Horse Shoe Curve and Rannoch and Courrour shots amongst others. This is a rare and exclusive opportunity to get a lot of shots from the 'wish list'.

    Further talks are being held over this weekend and more detail will be available next week …
