A few days ship photography around the Eastern Med last month threw up this gem of a survivor. The former 'Sealink' ferry 'Prince Laurent' enjoying her Greek 'afterlife' at the Island of Tinos on 20th April 2017. She was built in 1974 for Regie voor Maritiem Transport Belgie (RMT) and used on the Oostende - Dover service until being sold to Greek interests in 1992. Some re-building has taken place, but her unmistakable lines identify her long history. Long may she sail!

Don't know if it's still there but the Mersey Ferry "Royal Daffodil" used to run on services to the island of Kea (which is where "Britannic" was sunk by a mine).

The Leasowe went out there too. Royal Daffodil II was re-built as a small container vessel. Neither are operational now, being shown as 'decommissioned or lost' on AIS.

Royal Daffodil 2 sank, according to a web report.
