    Thanks for posting those pictures Ralph, those Sentinels were fine VERY powerful machines. A working 6 wheeler with a bus body can be seen every day during the summer months, it does tourist bus tours of Whitby town

    Update on that, Victor. The operators had a difference of opinion with the local Council at Whitby and the service ceased some months back. The Sentinel DG6P concerned has since been sold, but will be used for a similar operation at Weston-Super-Mare in future. I gather that Vern, the former owner has had health problems recently, so wish him well for the future.

    Managed to get ride on the bus a year or so back - put on a great show of power accelerating up the Kyber Pass! IMG_4378.JPG
