    Hello,

Does anyone know if any Severn Lamb locomotive drawings have ever been made available in any format?

    My particular interests are:

    - The 15" Rio locomotive (in any form)
    - The Thorpe Park Locomotives (Lincoln)
    - The Euro Disney Locomotive #4 'Eureka'
    - The Walt Disney World Animal Kingdom Locomotives
    - The Hong Kong Disneyland S/Outline locomotives. (Jupiter)

Please don't just say contact them, the idea of posting here is to find out if anyone knows prior to contacting the company.

I would expect the drawings of the Disney locos to belong to Disney.

Well that's what I thought, but I believe the Hong Kong ones are built to a standard SL design...

    Ben,

I would expect them to not to be available. As a commercial company operating in a competitive sector, they're (with good reason) unlikely to make drawings publicly available. You may find that original commissioning owners of S-L locos have outline drawings as part of their agreed specification on commission, but Disney will be unlikely to be able to help given their size.

As for Rios, perhaps try Austin Moss at Windmill Farm; he has had several and may have also acquired drawings or made sketch plans. If you have the Severn Lamb book by the NGRS you will be able to get a list of who owns what now.
