Sheffield steam and Vintage Rally has been held at my local village Anston for the last 5 year or more with the exception of last year. The main attraction is the Vintage steam traction engines, but there is a good selection of other vintage attractions to be seen. This is the first part where we tour each Traction engine and several other attractions. In part two we will see the steam traction engines in action in the main Arena.

I didn't know they were still running it - lost touch after ONCA ceased to be held.

Did get best in show once in the eighties for being the only silly sod to be towed on and off both days. Most people just gave up

    Is Tiny still commentating???

Been holding it at Anston for the last 6 years I think, last year had to be called of as the field entrance wasn't available at the last moment, I went about six years ago, seems a lot bigger than when I saw it then. I don't know the to much about it, usually end up clashing with some other event, so despite being on my door step I usually miss it. Car troubles this weekend, so fate played an hand, was a nice two days out.
