Due to the joys of shiftwork I was unable to get to Duxford this weekend for the D-Day show (I did manage to get there on Friday for arrivals/practice day however). Fortunately, finishing work at 5.30pm meant I could go to Shuttleworth for the evening air show. Forecast wasn't great, but I thought I'd go anyway, as it was only a 5 minute detour from my drive home. Somehow the weather held out; only one slight shower, but some amazing storm clouds, plenty of sun, and even a double rainbow at one point.

The strongish wind meant a lot of the booked aircraft didn't fly, but what did was superb.

Excellent stuff! Thanks for sharing them.
It's only 45 mins from home and I've never been. Something I need to put right I think.

    Cheers,

    Paul
