    Saturday 22nd September 2012 - Shuttleworth Uncovered and Airshow.

    The Shuttleworth Collection is hosting it's annual airshow with a twist.

    This event is your chance to get up close and personal with the world famous aircraft of the Shuttleworth Collection, meet our pilots and staff and ask us all those questions you've always wanted to ask!!

    Arrive early for a full family day out. Admission includes access to the Swiss Gardens and the English School of Falconry Bird of Prey Centre. Gates open at 10am

    To celebrate the Centenary of the Sopwith Aviation Company this year, it is hoped to bring you a line up of 5 Sopwith aircraft
    - Sopwith Tabloid project (Fuselage, floats, centre section)
    - Sopwith Pup
    - Sopwith Triplane
    - Sopwith Camel (courtesy of Brooklands Museum) (ex. Viv Bellamy) 130hp Clerget engine runs.
    - Sopwith Snipe (courtesy of TVAL)
    This will be a unique opportunity to see the development of the Sopwith family of aircraft in the open.

    We are also planning to reunite the only 3 working Napier Lion engines
    - Ground running Aero version
    - Napier Bentley
    - Napier Railton
    This will be another unique opportunity to hear the Lion roar multiple times!

    Sounds like a great day, I would love to go but other things get in the way. Someone please get some video of the Lion engines being run...
