Siemens C2 metro scoops design award

    Siemens’ C2 metro train has been awarded the prestigious ‘Red Dot Award’ during this year’s Designers Night in Essen.

    The C2 can add this latest accolade to the ‘Universal Design Award 2013′ and the ‘Universal Design Consumer Favorite 2013′ honours it won earlier in the year.

    Siemens is building 21 C2 type trains for the city of Munich.
