Difficult to know where to put this. A monorail open since 2011 which transports guests 1000' feet up in the Alps to eat good food! Despite being only 10 minutes from our mountain house today was our first time. 300 cc four stroke 15 hp on a maximum gradient of 1:1.8. Two carriages with a maximum of 8 people including the driver. 35 minutes each way.
Just for the record there were three ample pasta dishes (plus seconds for anyone who wanted) of risotto, ravioli and pasta with wild boar sauce. Followed by three different main courses of rabbit, chicken and roast pork. Accompanied with roast vegetables and salad. Plus extra courses of cabbage and courgettes.
For sweet a homemade apple pie, washed down with as much liquid as you could handle... At the end a sober you up coffee or an extra short of alcohol...
A very pleasant way to celebrate the birthday of our middle son! IMG_20230821_115620.jpg IMG_20230821_120101.jpg

Well I guess that beats Stonehouse Brewery (Although I do recommend a visit there to anyone visiting Oswestry :)).

Indeed. I have to say I enjoyed the brewery a great deal. It now seems my next trip to Oswestry is some way in the future.
