South Devon Railway Diesel Gala 7-9th November 2014

    This is the first diesel gala on the SDR for a few years and looks like its a good event. Class 25 D7535 is visiting from the Dartmouth Steam Railway (for the first time ever!) with other locos is use: 04 D2242, 09 D3721, 25 D7612, 33 D6501, 37 6975 & 121 W55000 over the weekend.

    Friday consists of both 25s working all trains including freight and passenger services with some double heading. Saturday and Sunday consist of all locos working the line with some freight trains in the morning along with early morning railcar from Totnes.

    On select services there will be a real ale bar and hot food with late running on Saturday evening. More info on the Devon Diesel Society website.
