According to the British/Dutch Maritime Union 'Nautilus' newpaper (August) the Rotterdam project has flopped with losses of 44 million Euros in her 1st year of operation. It cost 250 million Euro's to convert her into a hotel, museum and education centre and all this is now available for an asking price of 81 million Euro's.

I'm sad to read of this. I visited her last August when optimism for her finantial future was high

I saw here last year from the outside only and she looked mighty impressive!

I suppose it is the problem of timing, but surely the venture expected a loss in year one? I smell a bank getting cold feet somehow!
