A bit damp and miserable here in downtown Tamworth this morning but I am sure things will brighten up once I get to Statfold,

It was dry, but sunny intervals were few and far between - nevertheless it's always an enjoyable day.

Another excellent day at Statfold. Thanks must go to the SBR team for all their efforts. The new 'Big Engine' running line has now reached the balloon loop. What next? Looking forward to the members day in October.

Great day at the SBR with my dad yesterday. I don't have time to upload all of my pictures today, and I'm sure there are plenty of others with better photos than mine, but to start you all off here are a selection of my favourites.

    Josephine rounds the bottom corner.

Can I say a big thank you to all of the team at the SBR for a fantastic day - it is not every line you can experience double heading/top n tail running on two parallel lines with 16 different locomotives on show.

On a second note for Henry/the team at the SBR. I note from another forum that you were trying to track down drawings for the Davenport locomotive, were you successful in this? If you were would you be willing to share where you found them? I am feeling a bit of American modelling!

    Cheers,

    Ben
