Interesting to see the image of LMS on the G2s tender, sometime in 1967 I recall an 8F at Walton Old Jct where you could see both the LMS number on the cab side and LMS on the tender under the BR paint, hard to believe the pairing had lasted since nationalisation so I assume it must have been fairly common.
