Stephensons Rocket go,s home !

    Stephenson "Rocket" (rep) is due at Liverpool Road Station (now MOSI) on Thursday. This is the Manchester end of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, the railway that Rocket worked on. The 15th September is the 180th of the railway opening.
    Rocket is to be in steam along with MOSIs Planet (rep) locomotive on;

    sat 11th, sun 12th, weds 15th sat 18th and sunday 19th September 2010.

    It is hoped that the Pakistan Railways SPS 4-4-0 will be on display outside on the weekends and the Manchester Birmingham 1st class carriage maybe in use.
    Also on view is Novelty.
