STOCK WANTED

    The following is on our wish list, preferably for outright purchase if possible:

    1. A small steam crane, rail mounted, as might be seen as an ash loading grab. A BR civil engineers type would be too big. Condition not important.

    2. A standard gauge goods brake van, fitted and a runner if possible.

    3. A pair of wheel sets for a BR SHARK plough brake. Ours are lifex with more flats than is good for me.

    There is a steam crane located at the Ecclesbourne line in Derbyshire which is privately owned and was up fo sale a few years ago, I believe from It may well still be.

    It is relatively small, (10 tons) and has a match wagon which was a former lswr carriage underframe.
