Planning a trip up to the SVR tomorrow. Any idea what's rostered and which way they're likely to be pointing? Any help much appreciated. I'm assuming it's a 3 engine in steam timetable what with the additional 12.15 ex Kidd'y dining service?

    Hi Craig,
The engines tomorrow are booked to stay on their sets all day. The engine swap at Bewdley is now only booked on table D.

Canned the idea of taking the trip up to SVR today. Saw a weather warning for the Midlands - especially the Severn Valley - so thought better of it! Forecast looks slightly promising for the weekend so may have a go Sunday instead.

Any idea what's rostered over the weekend? (First and second off Bewdley, and first off Bridgnorth if anyone knows would be very helpful!).

    Cheers

Well maybe only partly.... The roster hasn't made it to the MPD at Bewdley, but based on the order that the engines are parked up there, the 1st off the south end will be 42968 (2 round trips) and the 2nd will be 7802 (1 round trip). I have no idea what will be working the set off the north end I'm afraid.
I'm on the 1st one off Bewdley on Saturday, so do come and say hi if you are about.
    Adrian.

Had a good day photting today - thanks to a_hassell and littlenobby for the info - meant I could plan today which made all the difference!

Made use of a visit to the Engine House for lunch and the Bewdley cafe for cuppa before leaving - all in all a good day.

    Sunday should be:
    42968 1st off Bewdley
    7802 2nd off Bewdley

5164 & 7812 off Bridgnorth - one will work the Bridgnorth set and the other will go L/E to Kidder to work the diner.

I was on 42968 today - bloomin' freezing!

    Hi Adrian

Sorry to hear you were freezing - should have been on a GW loco [-X

I had jobs to do today, but if tomorrow is as sunny, I shall def be there - can you remind me which way the locos are currently facing?

    Thanks

Frustrating day really. As i was drivin through Kidder it was wall to wall blue sky but as i drove through Bewdley to head upto Bridgnorth i was hit with thick fog all the way upto Bridgnorth. (don't think i was the only one though who got caught out by this) Missed 42968 & 7812!!! ](*,) but drove back to Bewdley and got 42968 and 7802 at Bewdley Tunnel. Thanks Adrian for the steam out of the tunnel. \:D/ . Two cracking shots, which made up for the bad start.
