SVR Open House event Saturday 1st April 2023

I went down to the SVR Open House event yesterday Saturday 1st April 2023

Due to the untimely failure of 40106 on the 1st service of the day approaching Bewdley timetable having to be reorganised, meaning 10:15 steam service behind 7714 was cancelled as 7714 couldn’t get to Kidderminster from Bewdley for its booked service, it was allocated to the 11am service which should have been diesel hauled, meaning passengers from the 11am service were put onto a already nearly full cancelled 10:15am service, hence I only had about 40 minutes at Bridgnorth to get round the shed before heading back to Bridgnorth on the 13:05 service again behind 7714, which due to delays due to 40106’s failure took nearly 1 hour 50 minutes from Bridgnorth to Kidderminster, due to having to wait for delayed diesel services at passing stations.
