Swanage Railway Blood and Custard Rake.

    In the coming months the Swanage Railway will have a complete rake of Blood and Custard Coaches.

    The rake of coaches are for a revamp of the Wessex Belle dining train. All 4 Dining vehicles are being repainted into this scheme with 2 coaches already completed and out shopped.
    The third is currently midway through the repaint, with the 4th due to enter the goodshed after mothering sunday lunch.

    A brake coach is being talked about to follow suit into this scheme to complete the rake. However with the BG currently in this livery a 5 car rake should be available by the end of April.

    This set will look superb on the Swanage Railway and we are very excited about launching the new livery very soon. It will certainly stand out against the normal passenger rakes and should make the wessex belle service even more special.

    Incidentally the set will also be available for photocharters, possibly with on board catering! ;)
