I'm hoping to get over to this, haven't managed to get across yet. I'm rather looking forward to it.

Well now I have managed to work this new forum out...I'm back!

We should see Renishaw heading the Coal train and Cochrane on the Passenger,

The first Coal Train Departure should be about 10am. We shall be operating differently to normal, if all goes to plan with only using one guards van, this means running the guards van round at each end of the line. (if all goes to plan)

This could ghenerate some interesting viewing especially at the East Tanfield end of the Line,

Once we have a timetable I shall post the details

    Thanks

    Chris

Can't get the timetable in a format to replicate on here sadly but first passenger train 11am from Andrews House, first coal 11am from East Tanfield - the enigne and van will be heading down earlier for shunting etc. Should be copies of the timetable available on the day.

Oh just an extra thought. I'll be 'dressing' Renishaw for the part, going to put a traversing jack, 'parrallel shunting pole' and chain on the footplate alongside the usual shunters pole to make her look a little more like a working engine for the day... debating how much cleaning I'll do on the morning too... will see how she looks tomorrow when I open up and make a decision then.

I was at this event for a short while on Sunday morning, untill the snow came down too heavy to continue linsiding and dog walking (anyone who saw the Siberian Husky at either Andrews House, Causey Arch or East Tanfield, that was me attached to him). Gotta say I was impressed by the day - highlight had to be No;6's attempt to get up the bank with the 12:30 coal train when it stalled and had to take a 2nd run, sound was incredible!
