Richarde Newton's charter on friday was probably the only one I've been on where I went primarily for the stock rather than the loco. The ELR have done a great job on restoring the tank wagons, well worth the 4 am start from home and an 'interesting' journey up the M6.
A selection of shots with snow and after it had all disappeared in the afternoon rounded off with the traditional Burrs sunset

No I do not currently volunteer
Lovely photos there John, the barrier wagons are very prototypical.

Thanks Matt, Richard normally likes to get things as realistic as possible. A tiring couple of days, at Keighley on Saturday but a lot to show for it.

We rarely get to know who’s on the footplate so thank you for providing a great day. I do mainline support crew so I can appreciate the hard work you put in.
