I am hearing that today's Thanet Belle is 44932 vs 34067. Anyone know anything further?

44932 (98532) is what is shown on TOPS so can only presume that is correct.

I min. down @ Selhurst, 44932 with green train with box on the back. seems last minute problem with 34092 so black 5 subs (with the WCRC fleet reliability they were lucky to have another loco on standby).

    Will upload photos shortly.

Photos from Selhurst, as promised. Loco was running well and could hardly be heard over the noise from the wheel flats on the green train!

So my eyes weren't decieving me this morning when I passed by Southall...she was tucked inside the main shed on the far road with her support coach.

Britannia was in light steam, I assume for an FTR today for her run to Bristol.

Hasn't this stock been out of service since earlier this year? Surely enough time to sort out the wheel flats, which have been known about for a long time. Even mentioned in another thread in the last day or so as regards to the buffet car.

The prob with WCRC & Wheelflats is they don't have a wheel lathe, they occasionally trip stuff to Ardwick or Tyseley to use the ones there, but obviously the cost and fuss mean not as much gets done as would in an ideal world.

Not sure where Riveira sort their stock, but working so close with DBS means it's prob easier and quicker for them.

Making some serious noise up the hill between Streatham stations, but our view blocked by a pesky multiple unit at the last minute. Second only to Tornado for volume, but then a haven't heard either if the Brits working hard yet.

As I am colour blind you will have to excuse me here.

The last coach appeared green but surely the other coaches were maroon. <BJ>
