'The Bath and Bristol Christmas Markets'. Thurs. 28th November. RYTC.
'Tangmere' is rostered for the charter from Poole to Bristol.
That looks rather doubtful at present. >BJ>

Anyone hazard a guess as a replacement, 70000, 70013 and 60009 are in the vicinity but all 3 are out on Saturday, which would mean a Tuesday -Sunday, if not Monday shift for the support crew...
34046, 44932 and maybe a long shot 35028 are in the zone...

Prob a black five but not necessarily 44932. Support crew changes at short notice present their own challenges.
Spending all Sunday in Wembly would not have helped the mood of those who worked long arduous hours with Tangmere especially if they had other work on Sun or Mon as a topical example.

Looks like 45407 & 44871 are being sent down South shortly, whether for this trip or not I don't know.

Ian Riley has said his locos now have 10 railtours between now and Christmas. Thursday's Poole Bristol, Saturday's Euston Chester, plus the other 6 already listed on UKSteam, and the two that were down for 34067 from Three Bridges to Bristol and Victoria to Eastbourne and Hastings. Busy month!

According to Ian Riley on Facebook, it'll be 44871. Excellent news! :)

Would you rather have no steam or cancellations?

Try these two on The Tin Bath sometime and you might change your mind about that.

Even one with the whistle from an American Challenger locomotive? I must say, I for one am happy with the variety.
