    Evening All,

After my visit to the DB Museum in Nürnberg, I went to the Bavarian Railway Museum in Nördlingen and a further batch of pictures is now on Flickr. If anyone would like to see them, this is the first one :

Alternatively, they can also be found in this collection along with some pictures that I put on previously :

I hope that they are of interest.

Those are great Ron - and uncanny! I think you and I spoke on the Eurostar on the way out - you were on your trip and I was on an organised holiday. We then went separate ways but our group were in the first class coach on the same trip that you took at Nördlingen. The S3/6 was in steam on the Whit Monday for the first time in many years.

Those pictures bring back great memories!

I remember. I think we bemoaned the fact that the computer doesn't like us and always books us seats by an opaque plastic panel instead of a glass window!

    That certainly sounds familiar!

I have just returned from a week staying in Straslund (guess why!) and "won" the plastic panel and a seat facing backwards again on the outward Eurostar. The buffet car can be a great refuge from such things!

The trains across Germany to Straslund had none of the "no window" nonsense - nice, proper loco hauled (or propelled - 125mph with screw coupled stock!) comfort.
