    ...that of the hundreds who thronged the stations, bridges, crossings and fields along the route, in near perfect weather, only D1002 has posted anything on here.

    I did wonder if the train ran at all. Must rank as one smallest responses to a mainline tour ever on NP. If as you say, hundreds thronged the stations, bridges etc. it is very surprising that no one, except you and D1002 have posted anything!! And there I was, waiting for tour reaction but it never came!
