Britannia's first mainline tour and it starts at a civilized time from my home-town! I've already told the boss that I'll be a little late getting to work that morning.

Well, not my usual spots Matt, as I have my arm in a sling till the end of April after an op on my shoulder tendon . I'm therefore stuck with bus or train from Bracknell, so most likely I'll go to Reading or Twyford.

Wherever, let's hope for more of this lovely spring weather, see the sun shining off her new paintwork.

I shall be out to see this tomorrow. Couldn't afford to go on it as I had hoped. Still, it will be good to see 70000 in Black.

Through Twyford about 10.25, so about 10 mins down, cantering at a steady 40-50mph , looking splendid , no nameplates, , 12 on, mixed livery,. No diesel. Brilliant sunshine so good luck to her today. What a route !!
