Almost inevitably, it was wet, grey and dismal when the Railway Touring Company's The Christmas Cheshireman passed through South Wales en route from Bristol to Chester on 22nd November 2014, with haulage by ex-LMS Black 5 4-6-0s nos. 44871 and 45407. Some images of the train passing Severn Tunnel Junction and climbing Llanvihangel Bank can be seen on my Zenfolio website at:- http://mickrogers.zenfolio.com/p281664064

It was all blue skies and sunshine later in the day, so hopefully someone will be able to post some other images of the train in better light.
    Cheers,

I'm surprise no one else has added to this thread! As Mick stated, sun was out further north. This is my effort taken at a very familiar location, Hargrave in Cheshire. Only 30 or so minutes before No 4464 "Bittern" went pass in the opposite direction in the same light.
