Times for this tour now on UKsteam. http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t10/t1127e.htm
The sharp eyed among you may notice that it is booked to pass through B'ham New St. on the return leg.
Two steam locos through New St. in five weeks who would have bet on that at the start of the year?
Anyone know when was the last time a Black 5 went through New St?

Looking at the times that is all of the route I booked for completely gone. First is the Tame Bridge - Soho - Wolves section and also the Chester - Shrewsbury - Wolves section cut out plus now its not even steam hauled throughout! Not good enough.

The reason for the diesel from Bescot is because there is a possession on the Sutton Park Line and after all it's only the last ten miles or so.
As for the change of route hopefully someone will give you an explanation in due course.

The tickets through this weekend which does contain an explanation for the changes made to the route. All are due to Network Rail possessions in the Birmingham and Telford area. Many thanks to Vintage for openly explaining this which is more than some other operators have done in the past.

Am I right in assuming it takes the Sutton Park line on the outward journey?

Through Beeston station going well and 5 minutes early.
Not one of my best shots as the camera took so long to start, maybe too cold, then the auto focus got confused with the steam. :mmph:
