Past Time rail ran the Dorset Coast Express on the 1st August 2008. The loco rostered to work the train was 6024 King Edward 1 and the King worked the train throughout from Bristol to Weymouth and return.
I could not get out to see the train going to Weymouth in the morning due to work but managed to see that King at Yeovil Pen Mill on its way to Weymouth after servicing and turning at Yeovil Steam Centre. The final shot is of 6024 storming through Bruton.
