Is it likely to be I/C stock again?

Thanks for that. Railway Herald says the train is the class 40's TNT, but that may be a reference to the class 47 on the back.

Believe the plan is D345 leading D213, with a 47 on the rear. The return starts from a bay platform at Edinburgh before heading round the sub, so it'll need a loco to drag it back in from Craigentinny.

That's my understanding from a CFPS email to members.

Sounds like you viewed a different tour. This is via the WCML and is class 40s on the front

The Northern Belle from Crewe to Edinburgh is 57s T&T via ECML.

Traksy was showing the line blocked at Grayrigg loop and TPE went into the loop around whatever the problem was .

Pity that the passengers are unlikely to be able to hear that sound.

There's been a track fault for a couple of weeks, everything is going via the loop.
