A few places still available for the traditional winter charter on Dec 29th. Always a good bash, this year with Giesel fitted Florence No 2 on Hoppers. Early start, early finish - the chaps bring thier own sun, thus we are sure to get something in the bag if conditions dont go our way at night.

PM me if you are interested.

See other thread for our part in "Cranford" to be screened on Dec 20th & 27th - Bellerophon features.

Just a big thank you to Glenalmond and the rest of the staff at Foxfield for another enjoyable charter at the Foxfield railway, especially the provision of the stove to huddle round.
Some good photos were obtained (despite the less than favourable weather) thanks to a strategically placed/arranged steam crane. The consist was varied with Minerals being used in addition to the Hoppers; and where else has anyone see a mineral wagon full of coal in preservation?

Here's looking forward to the summer gala, unless I can make it back before then.

    Ben

    Hi and thanks for looking.
I quite like your shots as they are mostly timeless and I think industrial steam looks better in grotty weather.

    Regards,

    Paul
