    So I think we can safely say that there will be very little mainline steam in Holy and Easter week again next year for anyone who can't afford this tour, as just about every operable loco or major base/supplier of such locos will be involved in this tour! (I am taking account of the yet to be announced changes).

    The whole thing looks horribly wasteful in terms of light-engine moves, something which this years was rather less due to the reduced number of participants!

    I would presume there will be positioning trains the itineraries of which somtimes turn out to be as attractive if not more so than the GB's.

    I think it's a bit soon to pass judgement on LE moves until the whole picture of other tours used as positioning moves becomes available.

    According to the latest SR, 6023 is going to haul the last leg Bristol to London. Seems to be a genuine statement from RTC.
