As the snow fell on a cold winters day early morning on the 20th of January 2013 ,Ironclad 957 and Ivatt tank number 41241 sat in steam on Hawarth Shed for one last time before their ticket expired, along with guest engine and yunger relative of the ironclad number 1300.

A super evocation of the last day - although given events during the day I had wondered if the film should have been titled "The Lost Day". Nice to see the evening scenes which are so rarely taken and even more rarely shown and an excellent reminder of an eventful day on the KWVR.

1300 sounds well on its solo run hope it sees more action at the March gala than it did at the October one.
