I went on the North West Wanderer on Saturday locos used were 45118 The Royal Artilleryman (which was on the tour all day) D400 Fearless (which failed with oil pressure problems) D213 Andania (which hauled D400 Fearless, 11 Coaches & 45118 over the little North Western route) D6817 & 37409 Loch Awe (which along with 20118 & 20132 were 51 minutes late arriving at Preston from Crewe due to axle counter issue near Wigan, sadly i was unable to do this leg as it meant i would miss my connection back home later at Preston.

D400 Fearless arrives at Crewe station in the morning for the start of the tour to Carlisle
45118 The Royal Artilleryman on the rear
D400 Fearless (which failed with oil pressure problems) at Carlisle
45118 The Royal Artilleryman waiting to depart Carlisle this leg to Preston via the S&C line
D213 Andania (which hauled D400 Fearless,11 Coaches & 45118 over the little North Western route)
after arriving back at Preston again
D213 Andania removes dead D400 back to Crewe at Preston
Then the fun started with the late arrival of the convoy of 4 locos from Crewe
20118,20132, D6817, 37409 Loch Awe arrive Preston 40 minutes late due to axle counter issue near Wigan
37409 Loch Awe & D6817 finally depart with the Manchester leg 51 minutes late
